The climate on the Romagna Riviera is generally Mediterranean, with mild, damp winters and hot, sunny summers.

Throughout the year, average temperatures range from 5–6 °C in winter to 28–30 °C in summer.

Winters are generally rainy, whilst the summer is characterised by long, sunny days and occasional thunderstorms. During spring and autumn, temperatures are moderate and pleasant.

The Romagna Riviera is, however, known for its mild climate even in winter, thanks to the influence of the sea, which moderates the temperatures.
