One of the most fascinating routes is the archaeological trek in the Valmarecchia, known as ‘Archeologica San Leo’.

The route passes through Tausano, features geological cavities and ancient evidence of human habitation, and passes through Saint Igne, a place of profound spirituality, and ends in the urban archaeological park of Saint Leo.

Hiking and wine tasting along the River Ariminus

A fascinating excursion that combines nature and good food.
From Santarcangelo di Romagna it can be reached Mutonia, an open-air museum, followed by an enchanting water trek along the riverbed of the the River Marecchia, the ancient Ariminus which gave Rimini its name.

The route continues towards the River Uso and ends at the Poets’ Hill, with a wine tasting and a picnic amongst the vineyards and centuries-old trees.

Sasso Simone and Simoncello Nature Park

From the village of Pennabilli The circular walk begins “Tonino Guerra and the Canaiolo waterfalls”, which runs through the Places of the Soul by the poet and screenwriter from Romagna.

The trek leads up to the “children around the world”, between the Monte Canale and Monte Carpegna, in an unspoilt natural setting.
