Parks and entertainment in Rimini
Among the city’s amusement parks – which are definitely worth a visit during your holiday on the Romagna Riviera – you’ll find Fiabilandia and Italia in Miniatura. Fiabilandia, situated in Rivazzurra di Rimini, offers countless attractions for young and old alike, inspired by the world of fairy tales, with new attractions, games, shows, shopping, exhibitions, cafés and restaurants, and also has partner hotels.
Italia in Miniatura is situated on the S.S. 16 Adriatica, in Viserba di Rimini, and offers visitors of all ages the chance to explore all the Italian cities and the major European capitals, faithfully reproduced in miniature.
The main attraction for tourists staying at hotels in Rimini is undoubtedly the beach.
The Rimini coastline, bustling with people and full of fun, is a whirlwind of activities such as aqua aerobics, dance classes, yoga, shiatsu massages, hot tubs, beachside gyms and swimming pools, and bars serving refreshing cocktails, wine tastings and culinary delights – not to mention the huge variety of sports on offer: beach volleyball, beach soccer, beach tennis, rugby, table tennis, fitness and basketball.

Practicalities, leisure and shopping in Rimini
The historic centre of the city (for a detailed description of the monuments, please refer to the ‘Rimini: history, art and interesting facts’ section of this website) is very welcoming. You can explore the centre of Rimini, starting from the Arch of Augustus and continuing along Corso d’Augusto until you reach Piazza Tre Martiri, where you’ll find the Clock Tower, the Church of the Minimi and the Tempietto di Sant’Antonio. Walking along Via Cairoli, you’ll reach the Church of Sant’Agostino.
At the end of Via Cairoli lies Piazza Malatesta, where Castel Sismondo stands out, commissioned in 1438 by Sigismondo Malatesta.
Via Poletti leads into Piazza Cavour, which is home to the Town Hall, the Arengo Building and the Podestà’s Palace, as well as the old fish market.
From Piazza Cavour, heading back onto Corso d’Augusto, you reach the Tiberius Bridge; whilst, heading back towards the Arch of Augustus and turning off towards Piazza Ferrari and Via Tempio Malatestiano, you reach Rimini Cathedral – also known as the Tempio Malatestiano – a monument that is certainly not to be missed.
A major tourist attraction on the Riviera is the Marina Centro district of Rimini, the heart of the seaside resort, where, at the end of Viale Principe Amedeo (lined with splendid 20th-century villas), there is a garden roundabout, Federico Fellini Park, featuring the Fountain of the Four Horses; and, right on the seafront, stands the Grand Hotel of Rimini, an Art Nouveau building and a key location in Fellini’s imagination, with its striking architecture dating back to 1908 and designed by Paolo Somazzi.
A little further on, in Piazzale Boscovich, is the Rimini Dolphinarium, where you can enjoy a variety of daytime and evening shows featuring dolphins as the undisputed stars.
Rimini’s main shopping street is Corso d’Augusto, where you’ll find the best international designer brands, but the side streets and those adjacent to the corso, as well as Viale Vespucci in Marina Centro, Rimini, also offer some splendid shops.
