It is said that in Rimini, Saint Anthony preached to the fish (the famous depiction painted by Paolo Veronese exhibited in the Galleria Borghese in Rome) and this took place near Rimini's Ponte della Resistenza located in the San Giuliano district.
Rimini on the occasion of Christmas and New Year's Eve on the same bridge organises a beautiful initiative to greet the New Year. On the Bridge of Resistance, 500 holy hoods, which are a clearly Christian symbol, will be placed as decorations. On each holy hood there will be a message of good wishes written in all the languages of the world.
These holy hoods will be decorated by young people, children, inmates, young people from San Patrignano to give a strong gesture of cultural and social integration.
The street of the bridge will be illuminated with bright lights, comet stars and luminous angels made especially for the occasion by Salvatore Federici. Tourists and passers-by will also be able to admire the Holy Family, which will be placed on a boat visible from the Ponte della Resistenza bridge.
On the day of Epiphany, the boat with the crib will be joined by other boats carrying the Three Kings with gifts, all accompanied by the participation of the Knights of the Sea, who will be dressed as ancient Romans on horseback.
