The Aviation Museum in Rimini is a theme park covering more than 100,000 square metres, making it the largest in Italy. This museum is located on a hillside, a position that makes it very characteristic from an environmental and landscape point of view.
Some fifty aircraft, helicopters, as well as armaments, engines, cabins, uniforms, medals, from all over the planet, examples include Russian MiGs, American F-104s, Italian G.91s.
Tourists can admire 3 kilometres of exhibits that are set amidst green and floral areas. You will find refreshment areas, a large car park, a heliport area and a special area for children and their entertainment.
One part of the park describes the History of Flying and mentions some of the greatest mysteries. A whole park is dedicated to aeromodelling and presents some of the flying models from great collections and a research centre on the Battle of Rimini.
