Michelino (Michele Arduini) is another name associated with Paradiso. Having first become involved in music in the 1980s, he joined the club in 1991, where he honed his skills and built a career in the world of clubbing. A lawyer by day, a DJ by night, Michelino continues to live out his passion for music.
Finally, Paolino Zanetti, who owes his introduction to Paradiso to none other than Gianni Fabbri, the club’s owner. Zanetti spent ten years as the club’s resident DJ, becoming an icon of the 1990s clubbing scene.
The Story of Paradise
Il Paradiso was one of Italy’s leading entertainment venues. Founded by Tina Mirti Fabbri as a live music venue for Rimini’s ‘high society’, it was adapted by Gianni Fabbri in the 1970s, in one of the country’s most exclusive clubs. Situated on a hill above Rimini, the Paradiso became a landmark on the nightclub scene, attracting a mature and sophisticated clientele, including celebrities and politicians.
In 2007, following a period of great success, the club came under new management, but it never managed to recapture its former glory. The nightclub closed its doors for good in 2011, marking the end of an era. However, its legacy lives on in the memories and legends that still bring Rimini’s nights to life today.
